It is possible to do it but i recommend going to a hairdresser it saves so much time from you destroying your hair.
But here are a few helpful tips:
section hair into 4 sections pinky behind ear for the front 2
from the back you want to take the TOP pieces and cut however much you want.
Then you want to keep grabbing pieces from the back and connect it with the top pieces in the back.
THEN you want to grab your partings from the front connect those hair pieces with the back crown piece that you have cut.
and then you want to take your hair half way up all the way around and cut.
IF this doesn't help go on YouTube and search up 180 HAIRCUT.

1. Divide your head into three cutting zones: a) the lower part of the head (running from the bottom of the hair line to the top of the ear); b) the middle part of the head (running from the top of the ear to the top of the head); and c) the top of the head.
2. You should use the comb guide from the largest to the one meets the requirement. Choose a larger guide comb than the desired maximum cutting length, because it would not remove your hair too much with the larger guide comb. Put it on the trimmer.
3. Start to trim the whole head hair use the proper one (satisfy your maximum length).
4. Then decrease the guide length by one size for the lower and middle zone. Trim hair from bottom to the top edge.
5. For the lower zone, you can use a one size smaller comb guide to cut this zone's hair.
6. Use the left and right ear guide to cut the hair around your ear.
7. Clean your side and neck hair.

∙ 14y agoIf you want ruin your hair completely , go for it. My advice is it is not possible to layer your hair by yourself , without destroying your hair. Go to a hairdresser.
