There are various battles with zant (very hard) so you should have various fairies in bottles. You will need to equip the Iron Boots, the Gale Boomerang, the ball and chain, the zora armor and the clawshot. the first battle you will need the gale boomerang zant will fire at you when he finishes use the gale boomerang to attract him, then slash away with your sword after various hits he will change places and strategies. Then you will be in the goron mines where you fought with the goron. put on the iron boots and he will start shaking the arena. when he stops unequip them and he will start throwing energy balls. when he finishes he will try to gain energy so then get to him and slash away with your sword. after several hits he will change places and strategies will change to lakebed temple. some heads will pop out and one will open its mouth (oh when you enter put on the Iron boots and zora armor also the clawshots) then grab him with the clawshot and slash with your sword. after several hits he will again change. then he will go to the forest temple. roll at the pillar he stops at and he will fall slash him with your sword and then he will change places again. HE will then change to snowpeak ruins. he will turn into a giant and try to land in you. Dodge it and hit his foot with the ball and chain. he will become mini. then slash him with your sword after several hits he will change places. Then he will go to castle town and a good ol' fashioned fight. he will slash at you but hes very slow. if you want you can slash at him meanwhile but the best way is when hes trying to recuperate after a spin you may attack him. after several hits he will be defeated and you will be awarded with a heart container and midna will gain a new power.
