A REAL friend will not treat you like that. When I was in my teens I had a "friend" who treated me like that. I ended the friendship. I ran into her many years later and we Almost renewed our friendship until I saw the signs of her same old ways coming out and that ended the possibility of any friendship. People usually do that when they don't have self confidence and they subconsciously feel the need to put others down so they can feel better about themselves. When a friend starts treating you like that you can try talking to them, in a nice way, about how they are making you feel. If it continues or your friend is not open to what you are saying I would simply end that friendship and you will meet another best friend who hopefully will not do the same.
