If your boyfriend has a child it's important for you to accept that child into your relationship. He has duties towards his child and he surely loves that child. So if you want to be a part of his life, do your best to include the child. You don't get him without the child, it's a part of him.
If you can't handle the child in your life, or you don't feel you're ready to be a parent to that child, this relationship isn't the best idea. A child needs stability.
