You will have to take it to a factory dealer and have them run it for you. There is no info on decoding a 9 digit, only the 17 digit vin number's (1983 or later).

Since 1980 all Nissan vehicles have a 17 digit VIN number that contains several pieces of information. The Nissan website has a VIN decoder in the Support section that will decode the number for you.

The vehicle identification number is a 16 -digit number. The number is located at the door lining and is decoded using the VIN decoder.
If you have an older bike (pre 1981) before they went to a 17 digit vin, you will have to check with a dealer. No one knows how, nor is there a website, to decode the older vin numbers.
That is all the digits that was needed up until 1981 when the 17 digit VIN replaced the 13 digit.
