∙ 13y agoThe minibots will chase you of their own volition. Lead them to the 4 glowing orbs (2 at the bottom and 2 at the top), and when their plugs touch one, they explode.
If the minibots (or Director D) do not chase you, you have encounter the freeze-up glitch present on Spy Island. You will have to reboot Poptropica and play the control center again.

∙ 13y agoThere are 4 minibots and 4 glowing orbs around the room : two at the bottom and two near the top. Use the grappling bowtie to reach the upper ones. Whenever the plug of a minibot hits an orb, it explodes. When all 4 minibots are gone, Director D will attack you with the control console.
(NOTE : For some players, either a minibot or Director D may stop moving. If this happens, reboot Poptropica and play the control center part over again. This is a known glitch on the island.)

On spy island there are these robots that B.A.D. boss Director D sends after you. To defeat them, make them follow you to the platforms, and then they become electrocuted
How do you get out of the satellite on Spy island?
Normally when you defeat the mini-bots and Director D, the game returns you to the Spy Headquarters for your Island Medallion. However, there is a bad glitch which can halt the program when you are battling the mini-bots or Director D. They will just "freeze up" instead of chasing you. The only way to fix this is to reboot your browser, which means you have to beat the lasers again in the hideout sequence. (see related question)
