Hold your pip boy but down and turn the light on. Then look for the Nightkin and start shooting it. Then his invisible shield is down and then kill it. Oh and if you want a Nightkin companion go to Jacobstown in the North West Part of the map then talk to the only human there. he's in the east side of the lodge and you'll get a quest to kill some night stalkers with lily and there you go. LILY CAN 1V1 A DEATHCLAW.
