How do you defeat the omega Metroid in Metroid other m?

This is difficult, I won't lie. You have to run up to the Omega Metroid holding the L button (so you shoot diagonally), charge an ice beam shot FULLY (or it won't hurt it), and run just under it's claws and shoot directly on it's chest. This has to be done at least almost perfectly before about 2 minuets deplete. This boss follows the same color weakening scheme as most other bosses, so it turns blue for halfway done, and pink for "I'm almost dead". Rember, each hit from the Omega Metroid will do exactly 99 (1 whole energy tank) damage.
