Depends what console you are playing on. I have an Xbox 360, whenever i get too many characters I do the following steps....
1. Click on the xbox button in the middle of the controller. Go to the very last tab to the RIGHT!
2. Click on system settings and go to memory.
3. After going to memory, click on GAMES. Scroll down until you find Dragon Age and click on it.
4. Find the name of the character you are wanting to delete and click on it, then chose DELETE.
5. Chances are you may have more than 1 save for the character, usually the is an auto-save which you must delete, then you go back to the previous screen where all the names are showed again and just keep deleting all the saved games you have for that specific character.
6. (POSSIBLE ISSUE) You may have used that same name for multiple characters, if you do then your best shot is to either.....Delete all the auto-saved games for everyone with that name, then find out where you manually saved that character and delete the ones with the name of the area where u saved. I KNOW IT IS VERY CONFUSING.
Example.... (shows random numbers) John doe-Denerim
(shows random numbers) John doe-Redcliff Castle
(shows random numbers) Auto-save-John doe- Orzimmar
1.Arena 2.Daggerfall 3.Morrowind 4.Oblivion 5.Skyrim
