you need to open up your cheat box in the neibourhood and press keys (Ctrl+Shift+C) [at same time]
Then type in boolProp testingcheatsenabled true
Then go to a house with the family that has the adopted family member
and open up your cheat box one last time and put this in move_object on.
The go onto by mode and get the hand up and click onto the person and delete and then they will be gone, or you can...
press Shift and click on any adult in the house and some options will come up, click on spawn then L D tombstone and click the tombstone with the family member if its a baby you must wait until they are a toddler to selected them click the tombstone and click age transmation until they are adults then get them to move out if you dont want them in the house.

∙ 12y agogo onto the main menu and click on the family you want to delete. (Dont play the family). then at the bottom left of the blue box in the middle there should be a picture of a bin. click on that and then it will ask you if you want to delete it, click yes. hope this helped ;)
