Use the "Bookmarks" menu. The first item is "Show All Bookmarks" select this. The Library window should pop-up. When this does, click on "Bookmarks Menu" (the words, not the carrot to expand it). This should open show all bookmark folders and bookmarks not in folders. Then highlight the bookmark you want to remove and hit the delete key
I use firefox 3. I dont know if you can do this on 2 or a older version. But what i did was
Hit bookmarks then clicked on Organize Bookmarks then Clicked on bookmarks Menu then hit Organize in the top left then clicked select all. Then i right clicked one of the bookmark names and clicked delete and it deleted them all. Hope this helps. , Ray
Left click it. A drop menu should come up, and "Delete" should be an option
Drag the tab on to the toolbar and it should appear there.

You have to get the Xmarks plugin, and install them in all the Firefox browsers you want to sync bookmarks. Get an account (which it'll prompt you to do when installing) and wa-la!
if you are on a mac computer just drag them out of the bookmark bar and they will disappear or if your on any computer just click bookmark and right click and press delete and you will have them deleted.
ask the mac store or apple store to help PS i am 45. View>Sidebar>Bookmarks Sidebar will show up to the left and then you can right click and delete any bookmarks.
