To delete cookies and other items (such as history, cache, etc), click on the Tools button which is usually located on the upper right hand side of the screen. Next, select "internet Options". After that, you should see a window pop up. You should see a part of the window that is titled "Browsing History" and a button below it that says "Delete". Click that, and another window should pop up with selections. Choose which of those you would like to delete, and hit "OK". You're done!

The answer is very simple. All you have to do is start up your Internet Explorer and go into the "Tools" pull down menu in your Toolbar section. Select "Internet Options" and wait for the Settings window to load. From here, not only can you empty out your temporary files folder and cookies, you can also tell Internet Explorer to automatically delete them every time that you close the browser. Once the "Internet Options" window loads, double check that you are in the "General" tab. Below the area where you can change your homepage is the place where you delete your personal history and temporary files. Click on the delete button and choose what you want to be cleared. Also, if you want Internet Explorer to automatically delete it when you exit the program, click on the settings button and set it up from there.
