OK. I own a couple of Galaxy's. One I have success deleting apps from is the Galaxy Tab.
The tablet is a pleasure to use and you go to the APPS page (top right hand corner of the screen click on apps) and drag the icon to the trash can which appears at the bottom of the screen after you highlight the icon. Ensure that you didn't just remove the icon from the desktop - its the same process, but from the desktop not the apps screen.
How do I know I'm on the apps page?
Well this screen is tabbed, and it opens to apps by defauls but you can also see a widgets screen here too. Widgets are apps too, but usually OS related or extensions of, such as alarm clocks, network settings etc.
Now I also own a galaxy Music phone. I navigate to the apps screen *** note that it is VITAL to be able to delete apps sometimes - I had an american footbal game with a memory leak that filled the entire 32GB and I could not do a thing until I deleted, one by one, every app on the tablet, and by that time I'd lost settings from games I'd paid for, photos, music....yet it kept filling. It was BIG WIN but I should also say their soccer and Ice Hockey manager games are awesome and I have been playing for nearly a year - but it was either BIG WIN FOOTBALL or BIG WIN Baseball that leaked the memory, surely that has been fixed by now.
Not a tangent - a segue into my current frustration: I have a nephew that wanted temple run and agent dash installed. I did, but I cannot remove. There is almost zero information on the Galaxy Music phone. It was AUD$150 at Target and I am regretting it - its basically a Galaxy mini with a few plusses (like the iphone5 sound quality) and some negatives, and I have searched but cannot find out how to remove an app.
When I go to the APPS page I try dragging the icon for Agent Dash to the trash and it reverts immediately to the desktop and asks if I want to create a shortcut to it and a couple other useless options. Short of going in through the USB from my PC and trying to guess from filenames what to delete I am out of ideas.
Any help would be appreciated contact me at collingwoodFC.is.hard.as.hell@hotmail.com
Cheers and Go Pies!
