On most MP3 players, including iPods, you can delete and replace songs when you have it connected to a computer. Most MP3 players won't let you delete songs without connecting to a computer. -DJ Craig
No, but it might depend on the mp3 player...most of them won´t erase it
The songs are on the drive, not the MP3 player. If you unplug the drive the MP3 player won't see the songs.
An mp3 is a file it is like a word doc. It depends what mp3 player you have but most mp3 players have a delete function on them. Any thing with android OS on it has a delete function on the the player. I believe that you just holed the song down or something i am not exactly sure because i do not have a android. If you have an iPod touch/Iphone/iPad then you can delete song with the settings app. If you have a different mp3 player i do not know. The only other thing i know is with other iPods like the iPod nano you can not delete songs with out the computer. It really depends on what mp3 player you have most of the more advanced ones can it is just a matter of figuring it out.
There are no menu options that allow you to delete music from a Sony Walkman mp3. However, you can connect the player to a computer and delete songs individually. Open up Windows Media player and select the Sony Walkman device. A list of songs on the Walkman will come up, highlight the song you no longer want, and click on delete.
In order to get songs from the computer to a mp3 player, you simply need to hook up the mp3 player to the computer with the chord that came with the mp3 player. After that, you select the songs that you want to transfer, and then eject the player.

I was having this problem earlier too! All you have to do is plug your mp3 player into the computer, it should appear in your windows media player. (it should say 'GoGear audio) click on that. Then click on 'songs' under the "primary views" thingy. Now it should say all of the songs on your mp3 player. side click on the ones you want to delete then click "delete" after you're done deleting, you can unplug your mp3 player and they should all be deleted. Sorry about the really confusing directions! (hopefully you have windows media player)
just go into the program that holds said music, delete it from your library/purchased depending on the program, and resync your player and the music will be gone from it. or if you want it in your library but not on the player, uncheck the songs you do not want and sync your player. the unchecked songs will not be on the player, but still in your library.
you can plug it in the computer and delete it easy
