I was having this problem earlier too!
All you have to do is plug your mp3 player into the computer, it should appear in your Windows Media Player. (it should say 'GoGear audio)
click on that.
Then click on 'songs' under the "primary views" thingy.
Now it should say all of the songs on your mp3 player.
side click on the ones you want to delete then click "delete"
after you're done deleting, you can unplug your mp3 player and they should all be deleted.
Sorry about the really confusing directions! (hopefully you have Windows Media Player)
how do i delete my songs off my mp3 player

right click on it and click on delete
Depends on what type of MP3 player. Generally open My Computer find the MP3 and you should be able to locate the songs on there and delete them.
You plug it into a computer and delete the songs. What is so hard about that? Sheesh, people these days.......
I have one to you just click on the song that you want then click the three straight lines that are on top of each other and it comes up with things like add to playlist, delete from playlist but at the bottom it says delete just click that and the song is no longer there
Unless you delete them yourself, the songs should remain in the media player. Not necessarily, depends on what program you are using
You start with 12 new songs and then delete 5 old songs. To find the total number of songs remaining, subtract the deleted songs from the total downloaded: 12 - 5 = 7. Therefore, you have 7 songs left on your MP3 player.
Sometimes you have to plug your MP3 player into your computer and just go on the software and delete it/ remove it.
To delete songs off of an RCA Lyra 5102, you need to first plug the player up to your computer with a USB cord. Go to 'My Computer', then open the RCA Lyra. From there, you can see all the songs you have loaded onto the player. Right-click the song you no longer want and select 'delete'.
