Always at home. Couldn't take part in politics and couldn't vote either. They can't own land also. They had to run the home and family. They cared for young kids, bought suplies and wove cloth to make clothes and other women duties.

Women did not see there husbands from when they were 18 till they were 30 unless the men were able to get away from the barracks to spend a few of their stolen moment
