The Vent Stations are like any other of the reinforced destructables, they can only be damaged by miniguns, vehicle weapons or explosives. You can remove a mounted gun from its emplacement and use that, or take a ride in the Razorback and angle a shot through the open doorway. Or you can use grenades/triggered explosives. At least one enemy soldier has a missile launcher also.
Also note that destructable part of the Vent Stations is the machinery inside the building - no damage will be inflicted simply by shooting at the outer walls.
