Remotely it's almost impossible to do especially when you don't know the remote computer name. In order to use remote connection you need to know either the remoter computer ip address or the full name. The full name includes the computer name as well as the name of the domain and subdomain where it's connected to. The easiest way to use an ip address but not universal (in case if you are connected a DHCP server or if you are using ip addresses reserved for local networks such as 192.*.*.* and so on).
