just like you would in a gas engine, hopefully you have an oil pressure guage it will show low oil pressure. You could install your own oil presssure guage too. The only other way is to look on the mileage or hours meter to determine usage. Since you did not clarify whtat we are talking about, like chevy , catapillar etc, that is about as far as i can explain. Also engine noises can be a big determining factor for engine lubrication, like upper valve noises.
An empty fuel tank A defective fuel pump A plugged fuel filter Damaged fuel lines A week injector pump
A gasoline engine makes it's own vacuum. The diesel engine has a vacuum pump next to the power steering pump.A gasoline engine makes it's own vacuum. The diesel engine has a vacuum pump next to the power steering pump.
vacuum pump in a diesel, is a pump installed to create vacuum to assist in opreation of brakes in pickups tha have diesel engines, the brakes are same as any other pickup and use vacuum created by the ngine to operate. a diesel engine does not create vacuum, as a gasoline engine does. that is why there is a vacuum pump added to a small diesel engine on f250 the pump is belt driven, is on the driver side of engine, under the a/c compressor.
If the engine has spark plug it is said to be petrol engine, and if it has a pump to inject fuel then it is diesel engine.
Sure. Bearings and seals can wear out.
Cheek the pump
The degrees of injection pump timing of nissan straight six diesel engine is 90 degrees.
electric fuel lift pump inside fuel tank and high pressure diesel pump on engine driven by timing belt
timing chain h.p pump diesel
7.3 Diesel has a vacuum pump.... belt driven
You must have a diesel. The vacuum pump is what gives you POWER BRAKES and on the newer engines it also makes the power steering work. Only a gas engine makes vacuum. A diesel engine does not make vacuum, so they install a vacuum pump.
If the engine has spark plugs, use gasoline. If it has a diesel injection pump, use diesel.
