Don't. many try to to do that to install aftermarket alarms but since that is part of ECU programming many have never ending problems as a result. Add on to it if you need more or add a lojack. If you need to reset, an auto locksmith can do it easily.

To disable the theft alarm on a 2002 Toyota Sienna, put the key in the ignition and turn it halfway. Leave it in this spot for 10 minutes before starting the car.

The factory theft alarm can not be disabled. It is disarmed by unlocking the doors with a key or the remote.
The Ford P.A.T.S. (Passive Anti-Theft System) on a 1999 5.0L 2WD 4-door Mercury Mountaineer disables the engine's ability to start if the correct key with the embedded transponder is not used. If a non-authorized key is detected, the system prevents the fuel injectors from activating, effectively immobilizing the vehicle. This security feature helps deter theft by ensuring that only keys programmed to the vehicle can start the engine.
To disable the anti-theft alarm on a 2000 VW Beetle, try unlocking the driver's side door with the key rather than using the remote. If that doesn't work, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "on" position without starting the engine; this can sometimes reset the alarm. If the alarm still doesn't disable, consult the owner's manual for specific instructions or consider disconnecting the battery briefly to reset the system. If problems persist, visiting a professional mechanic or a Volkswagen dealership may be necessary.
