There is a panel in front of the front passenger's floor almost at right angles with the floor. Remove the screw holding the panel in place. Remove the panel. There is a rectangular (5 3/4" x 3 1/4") control unit held down with two nuts. This control unit has two connections. One controls the blinking lights and horn and the other the timer for the blinking lights and horn. You will need to unscrew the two nuts, pull up the control unit away from the floor, and unplug both connections.
You can disable the Mercedes-Benz 300E alarm system by removing the alarm system fuse. The location of the fuse can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box.
Its connected too the the key, by unlocking the doors will turn it off. Otherwise you can just cut the wires too the siren to permanently shut it up
The SE is the W126 body style. The 300E is the W124 body style.

I have a 1993 300e and located a 30A flst fuse close to the battery, perhaps this helps Added: 1986-1989 is Fuse "A" 16 Amps.
It is recommended every 30,000 or major service or physically checking for dirt
The relay is a black retangular box located between the battery and the firewall.
Any place that sells rims can tell you exactly what kinds of wheels will fit.
Take a look under the cover of the fuse box cover...the layout should be there
