I would think that these sort of pages could simply be blocked from loading by using the Tools/internet Options/Privacy/Sites. At this point, simply copy and paste the page address that continues to load at browser startup and indicate that you want them "Blocked." It would seem that the result would be that the process then defaults to the home page you have set up or listed under the Internet Options. Solution: Create restore point and take registry backup. and then follow some steps. Go into my registry
Click on: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Click on : Software (folder)
Click on: Microsoft (folder)
Click on: Internet Explorer (folder) then last but not least
Click on: Main (folder) and manually type in the Main (folder)
