The limitations of a camera and scanner are rather basic, first I'm going to be talking about the camera, which is a small portable device, which is used to take images and manipulate them which the software the camera comes with. Finally the scanner is a large device, which is portable but rarely taken from place to place because of the size of the scanner, this is used to transfer objects which you can hold into the computer e.g. documents, images etc.
A Pocket Wizard is radio which enables one to utilize lighting for cameras wirelessly. In order for it to be used correctly, the Pocket Wizard must be in synch with the camera and the camera's flash.

As the question does not specify the type of police scanner it becomes a bit more difficult to answer the question as to how to stop the beep of the police scanner in question. The manual to the scanner should tell exactly how to disable the beep when pushing buttons on the unit. If the manual is lost the manufacturer should be able to help. Many owner manuals are now available online especially for more recent products. A local electronics store such as Radio Shack may have the owner manual available online or may have knowledge as to how to disable the beep. Finally a search online in a search engine for your particular type of scanner may provide information as to how to find the manual or how to do what you seek to do.
