You can unplug the sensor wire but it will throw the airbag info from an 04 navigator, I understand the F150 also may throw the ABS light when unplugged... I had to remove the seat completely to get to the one in my gator. Next time I find the time I'm going to attempt to loop the wires and make it think it's latched. But I've been told it may need a resistor in the wire to lower the ohm rating to actually complete this easiest way out is to go to a junk yard and buy just the buckle from a wrecked one and just latch the buckle
if you have the owner book that came with the vehicle, you can find in the book how to disable the door chime
instructions to disable chime can be found in the ownere handbook that came with the truck it is disabled thru the computer in truck
The door chime on a 2000 Ford F250 can be disabled by removing the fuse or pulling the wiring harness. The chime is automatically trigger each time the door is opened or is left open
It should be located under the dashboard. usually behind the center console (heater controls, stereo etc...) You should be able to just pull out the wire that is fitted into it. But be careful. The same chime is used to let you know if you've left your headlights on, or your keys in the ignition.
info is located in owners manual
