Put the key in the hole?
This vehicle requires a scan tool to program the remote, a dealer or locksmith will have to do it.
To disarm the factory alarm on a 2000 Chevy Blazer without a remote, you can try using the key in the driver's door lock. Insert the key and turn it to the unlock position, which may deactivate the alarm. If that doesn't work, try starting the vehicle with the key; sometimes this can reset the alarm system. If the alarm persists, you may need to consult the owner's manual or seek professional assistance.
Your dealer will have to do this for you, since it requires using a GM scan tool.
I do not have a owners manual to look it up, i didn't get one when i bought the car
Cannot do it
With a 07 chevy cobalt key
It was not standard equipment, but it was optional.
Press it and the horn will beep a few times. It helps to locate your car.
It has to be programmed at a dealer or a locksmith with special computers. There is no other way that I know of to program it.
