You can unplug it at the servo itself. The servo is the part that has a cable coming from it attached to the throttle body. You'll see see a wire harness plugged into it.
Change the cruise control switch.
Yes, it can cause the cruise to surge.
You may have a short in your cruise control switch.
Check your fuses and wiring to the control first.
on our 2001 there is a cruise control button on dash push it then use controls rite side of steering wheel.
get it fixed
I believe there is no fuse just for the cruise control. The cruise control circuit is covered by the PCM. However, I would check the switches on the brake pedal.
check the fuse.
A clockspring controls the air bag, cruise control and the horn. I had mine replaced. On a Grand Caravan Dodge.
It increases the cruise control set speed.
The most common cause for a cruise control that stops working is that the electrical components or switches have stopped working. Sometimes taking it apart and cleaning the contacts will fix the problem.?æ
I am not sure what you mean by reconfigured. If the cruise is not working the first things to check are the vacuum supply to the servo and to check the pcm for trouble codes.
