If it is factory, you cannot disconnect it. It is integral to the vehicle's essential control systems, computers and wiring.
If it is an add-on system, it will be impossible to say on this forum, because all the different brands of systems are different and a lot depends on how the individual installer decided to install it. You may be able to find the central controll module and simly unplug it, but that may disable the car's starter, so a proffessional may have to do it for you.
