I have never heard of a Nissan bluebird but federal law forbids the disconnecting of the odometer

In a 1990 the speedometer is electronic, but the odometer is gear driven. These gears fail frequently. I would suggest visiting the IPD website. They have the gear along with an instructional DVD to help the process.
