Purchase a repair manual at most auto parts stores for directions.
at end of top of radiator hose.
follow your top radiator hose,its in the thermostat cover,two bolts hold it on.
It is quite easy to change the thermostat in your 1990 Cutlass. Remove the thermostat housing retaining bolts. Remove the thermostat from the housing. Reverse the process to install the new thermostat.
Usually in a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose
should eather be at the top in to engine or on bottom hose coming from engine
temperature guage sending unit
Look in a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose
Most cars from 1990-2000 take 30-33 psi(pounds per square inch.) But to be on the safe side,either check on the sidewall of the tire or the side of the door jam.
