This isn't exactly a coin magic trick--but it seems like it is until the very end... The Disappearing Salt-Shaker TrickMaterials Needed: coin, salt shaker, paper napkin Location: this is a dinner table trick--it only works if you are on one side of the table and your audience is sitting on the other side Directions: First tell your audience that you are going to make a coin disappear. Place the coin on the table and put the salt shaker on the coin. Now put the paper napkin on the salt shaker--smooth the napkin down and around the shape of the salt shaker so that the napkin seems to take the shape of the salt shaker. Now make some showy movements and wave your arms on top of the napkin/salt shaker/coin and say some magic words. Slowly pick up the napkin and salt shaker together and say something like "presto!" like you just made the coin disappear--but the coin is still there. Pretend you are disappointed. While your audience is distracted for a second looking at the still present coin, slowly move your hand (the one holding the napkin/salt shaker) over your the side of the table and let the salt shaker quietly drop onto your lap (make sure your audience does not see this--and also make sure you continue to hold the napkin as if there is still a salt shaker inside). Now, apologize to your audience for the messed up coin trick. Place the napkin (which is holding the shape of the salt shaker) back on top of the coin and say something like--"oh, i can never get this right" and slam your hand down on the napkin and say "hey! looks like i was able to make the salt shaker disappear!" Your audience will be so stunned since they were not expecting this at all!
MAGIC!
It's a magic or trick coin an has little or no value.
The "coin in a bottle from across the room" magic trick typically involves using a duplicate coin and a gimmicked bottle. The magician secretly palms the duplicate coin and holds the gimmicked bottle. By skillfully positioning the hands and misdirecting the audience's attention, the magician appears to make the coin penetrate the bottle from a distance. Practice and timing are crucial to successfully perform this trick.
A trick coin that you buy at a magic shop, I reckon.
No. You have a trick coin available at magic shops.
Many ways. Eat it. Do a magic trick. Throw it. Drop it. Give it away.
It's a trick or magic coin and has little or no value.
One of the easiest magic tricks to learn is the "vanishing coin" trick. It involves secretly palming a coin while making it appear as though you've placed it in your other hand. With a bit of practice, you can master the sleight of hand needed to create the illusion, making it a great introductory trick for beginners. This simple yet effective trick can impress friends and family with minimal effort.
get a trick
your hand
Before beginning the trick, hide a coin in your left palm. In front of your audience, put an identical coin in your right palm. Now, with both hands as fists, spin them around or knock them together. This may be done slowly to emphasize that the coin hasn't moved. Have the kids guess which hand the coin is in. No matter which hand they guess, the coin will be in the other hand!
