There are two ways:
1. You go to the Apple menu (little apple in upper left corner) and select "Force Quit" then choose the applications you want to force quit in the "Force Quit Applications" window. Press Return, Press "Force Quit."
2. Press "Option+Command+Esc" to open the "Force Quit Applications" widow. Select the application you want to quit. Press Return, Press "Force Quit."
If you mean "Forced Shutdown" of the computer, press the power button for 5 seconds.
With Mac OS X pressing the Command Option and Escape keys together brings up a Force Quit Applications window which allows the user to select an application that has frozen or is not responding in some way and force it to quit. The Force Quit option can also found in the pop up menu activated by clicking and holding on the application's icon in the dock.
To force quit a particular application that is running hit option > command > escape, and then chose the application you wish to quit from the list of running programs and then click Force Quit. To Force Quit your Mac hold down the power button until it shuts down. To reboot your Mac click the Apple Logo top left of screen and then choose Restart.
To force quit you can either press: Ctrl, Shift, Esc or Ctrl, Alt, Del
The fan key+Option+Escape. The fan key is Command (or cmd). It's the Mac equivalent of Ctrl+Alt+Delete on a PC.

To Quit a program running on Mac OS X select Quit from the Program's Name menu. The shortcut for this is always the Command (cmd) key and Q.

There is no built in translator into Mac OS X. To turn off any application on Mac OS X to one of the following: 1) When the application is active. Hit CMD and Q at the same time 2) Force quit the application from the Force quit menu option in the Apple-menu. 3) Quit the application from the "Activity monitor"
All the Safari windows close and memory that was used by Safari is returned to availability. Closing a window does not quit Safari. Command Q or Menu item "Quit Safari" will actually quit the application.

Quit the emulator. The cheat will naturally disable.
On a mac go to the blue apple and click. Force quit the operating system, not finder. In my case I use Firefox. Then go to the dock and click the system back on.
