It can only be given by another player's stallion, but you can ask them to go to the stallion that you would like to cover your horse's page, go to its reproduction, and it will say Private Covering under that tab. You type in the person's account name, and horse name, and press accept. They you will go to your Private Coverings in your mare's tab and accept the covering. Hope this helps. Your should be able to do this with any malestallion on howrse that you own. After reaching sexual maturity, go to coverings, in the reproduction box, and select make a covering. Type in the owners name and it should come with that message for next time they connect. Also, you can Private message other players if you have a female that would be well suited for one of their stallions and ask if they could reserve a covering for you. Hope this has helped :D

Look on the right, theres a tab that says reproduction. Click on public coverings/private coverings. Public coverings are the stallions who have given out covering offers out to any and all mares, while private coverings are for your mare only. To offer coverings (stallions) click on 'covering' under the same reproduction tab. Then select the price and decide weather the covering is private or public. If it's private enter the player's name and then the horse's.

To remove a covering in Howrse, go to your horse's page and click on the "Coverings" tab. From there, you can see the list of active coverings and select the one you wish to remove. Click on the option to remove or cancel the covering, and confirm your choice. The covering will then be removed from your horse.
