Change filter and oil.
1) Loosen the right side floorboard/peg.
2) Loosen the rear master cylinder.
3) Loosen rear exhaust fasteners.
4) Loosen the front header completely off. This takes some turning and twisting, but it has to come all the way off
5) This would be the time to drain the oil, 17mm bolt under the front of the engine.
6) You should now be able to get to the oil filter cover. The small outer cover is just decoration. The bigger cover has five screws that hold it on.
7) After you have removed the cover you should see a flt plate, you have to pry that off, or use a pair of needle nose pliers to pull it off, CAREFULLY it will break!
You should now be able to see the filter. Remove and replace. Carefully put everything back in reverse order.
