The best and least expensive method of exchanging currency in any country is through an ATM transaction. The transaction fees and exchange rates are most likely the cheapest and best respectively, especially if you are with a quality bank, the convenience is superb in most of Europe. Just be sure that you have a pin code not more than 4 digits for Europe. I learned that the hard way. Good luck.
