There is no way to "hurry" a download. It is completely dependent upon:
1. Your internet connection
2. Your computer Cable modem connections are the fastest--if you use dialup, slow.
If you are having trouble with the file download completing, make sure you have enough space on your hard drive, the destination folder exists, the site you are downloading from doesn't require a password to download, etc.
