Assuming you do not have iTunes already installed into your computer, and you wish to download music legally, follow these steps:
Make sure your computer has Itunes, much older versions of computers (before windows xp), may not be able to install it
If your computer does not have Itunes you must go to the website: http://www.apple.com/itunes/?cid=OAS-US-DOMAINS-itunes.com
From there you will click the "Itunes" button on the top bar.
It will then say "Itunes 10.5, free download"
Click the button and it will take you to another page with another button saying, "download now" At this point, or earlier you may need an email address because you will need to create an apple id
Click the download button and it will begin downloading
It will then ask you whether you would like to open or save, i would suggest saving to your desktop.
Once it is done downloading, you should have a desktop icon that says "Itunes setup" click it.
There will be some options about Itunes that you will be able to choose on your own.
Once you are done the setup, Itunes will open up.
From there you will go to the left where it will say "Itunes Store" this will be where you will buy your music, movies, etc from.
Once you are ready to buy music, plug the USB cable that is given to you along with your iPod and earphones, into a USB port on your computer.
This should synchronize your Ipod to Itunes, allowing you to download music from your computer to your Ipod.
Afterwards, you can go back to "Itunes Store" and download music onto your account which will transfer onto your Ipod (make sure your USB cable is still plugged in)
Firstly, you must have an iPod. Secondly, you must have downloaded iTunes, it is free and is upgraded frequently. Once, you are on the iTunes store, you can purchase songs, videos, apps, podcast(s), TV shows, and more. Most songs are either $0.99 or $1.29. Once you have selected a song, press the "add to cart" button. Now that this has been selected you can now, go to your cart. Once you are in your virtual iTunes cart, you will be given two options beside the song.
1) Buy/Purchase
2) Remove From Cart
If you want to buy the song, hit 'buy', and if you don't want the song and want to save money, then hit 'remove from cart'.
After buying the song - takes about 30-60 seconds to download - it will be placed in your iTunes music library and your Purchased folder. Firstly, make sure your iPod is connected to the computer with the USB 2.0, then once it is connected, your iPod's name and folders, should appear on the left toolbar (the one with the Ping and Folders and Playlists, etc.) Then go into the purchased or music folder, click on the song and drag it towards the iPod's music folder. Once it has been dragged, the iPod's screen will have a message like such.. "iPod is syncing, please do not disconnect."
Once the syncing is completed the song should be on your iPod in the music section. Another way to put songs on an iPod, is to check the box off beside the song and go on your iPod's taskbar on the computer. Once in the taskbar, hit sync and all of your songs will be refreshed and added to your iPod.
I recommend the dragging technique because it is much faster the 'all-round sync'.
1. You go into iTunes or download it for free.
2. plug in your iPod.
3. Let the computer read it and your name with iPod next to it will pop up.
4. Click on it.
5. Up the top there will be music click on it.
6.Then click synk all music.
go to itunes, for example, search Yeah!, and click buy. then enter your apple ID, and click okay.
When you connect your USB cord to your computer and your iPod, all the music, videos, and everything you have in itunes should automatically sync onto your iPod.
You just have to get a apple account on itunes , click download, and be willing to pay $0.99 per song.
This is for PC connect the usb to your computer, go to music file in your computer
drag to the box under the name of ipod and on the top of the page click sync.
A person can find information online on how to put music on an iPod from several different places. Some of these places include the official website for Apple and Digital Unite.
Ivan I down load free music
you need itunes
You go onto the apple site and download itunes then find your music through itunes, plug ipod in and sync it =D
If you search google, and download Sharepod or iDump you can transfer music from your iPod to your computer then onto iTunes. These are both free software.
You have to download iTunes then plug your iPod onto the computer
you can buy the music on itunes or you can download a app on the app store that lets you download free music.
download itunes, put music onto itunes then drag and drop (while still in Itunes) from "Music" to "what ever your Ipod is called"
If you have your iPod set to manually manage the content, you can click and drag the file to the iPod icon in the iTunes window. But if you have the iTunes 9 program, there is a option called "Autofill." To do this, hook your iPod to the computer. Then when iTunes recognizes your iPod, go to the music tab. At the bottom, click the Autofill button and then all the song will automatically download onto your iPod.
download itunes onto that PC and upload the photos onto itunes and then you can download the photos onto your iPod.
first, you have to go onto your computer and download a program called "tune-aid"... that program allows you to take all of the music off of your ipod, and onto your itunes. Then from there, you can put the music you transfered from tune-aid, onto your ipod touch. or any other device you want.. :)
Connect the iPod to the computer go to iTunes find music click download and in a few sec. you have music on a nook
You cannot download the PC/Mac version of iTunes onto any iPod. Out of the box, however, iPods automatically have the ability to play music and videos.
You must have iTunes to do so. Download iTunes, sync the iPod with the music on and plug in the other iPod. Drag and drop the music into the iPod section. If it won't let you, change the iPod settings to not sync automatically.
