There'll be a plug at the bottom of the transmission. That's the drain.
Open the drain screw at the bottom of the gearbox hydraulic fluid is discharged.
Take the wheel off closest to the gearbox, then you can clearly see the Automatic Transmission fluid drain plug. Its just behind the brake caliper. You may want to fill up and drain the gearbox twice in order to properly flush the gearbox as best as possible.
i know that they have them as i have one of the 6-speed autos The one the answerer above me has is a ZF 6HP26 6 speed auto which is in a BAII on (2004 to now) Falcon and has a drain plug - there is no drain plug on a AU! Undo all but the row of bolts on the back and let the sump drop - allow 85% of the fluid to drain then remove the back row of bolts and tip the rest of the oil out into the pan or whatever you are using to catch the old fluid! Ensure the gasket is still on the sump when you remove the pan off the transmission otherwise make ABSOLUTELY sure you get it of the bottom of the gearbox as it is replaced as well as the filter!
Remove driveshafts (drain oil), undo linkage and electrical connections, undo support under battery, undo bolts to engine, remove gearbox from underneath.
its on the bottom of the gearbox sump. but advise this be done by specialist as it requires diagnostic equipment to get fluid to correct level and pressure else it will go into limp mode
it has not got one you have to remove gear box sump plate
To change the gearbox oil on a 2008 Vauxhall Vectra automatic, start by ensuring the vehicle is on a level surface and the engine is off. Remove the drain plug to let the old oil drain out completely, then replace the plug. Next, use a funnel to fill the gearbox with the appropriate type and amount of new oil through the dipstick tube or designated fill point. Finally, check the oil level with the dipstick and ensure it’s within the recommended range before replacing the dipstick and closing any access points.
You will need a special Vauxhall service item called a Long Tool Hoffer. This will enable you to drain off the torque converter and the bastile. The filter must be changed and the old oil poured down the drain.
inside the gearbox any trouble you get with a gearbox drain and refill with new ATF.
From the right side of the bike, get down and look underneath the area where the gearbox is located, you will see a drain plug in the middle of the gearbox casing (obviously for the gearbox) and nearer to the outside of the bike there is a same size drain plug in a small down tube which is open at the bottom and is connected to the oil tank.
no drain plug just undo lower hose
The automatic does not have one. The pan has to be removed to drain the fluid. The manual should have a drain plug on the bottom. The automatic does not have one. The pan has to be removed to drain the fluid. The manual should have a drain plug on the bottom.
