Take safety precautions measures seriously when working with flammable fuels & materials, eye protection & no smoking or working near flames or ignition possibilities!
Method 1•
a) Make sure to turn fuel shut-off valve, to "Off" position.
b) Loosen the clamp on carburetor end of 1/8" rubber fuel line, (first push in & gently twist CCW & CW) then pull & drain into an empty, clean gas can.
Method 2•
Using battery operated or hand siphon pump, through gas cap. Drain into clean dry gas can.
Method 3• (If tank is contaminated)
Following service manuals instructions, Close fuel shut-off valve & un-install fuel tank
& properly drain & dispose of contaminated fuel, & clean tank as per shop manual!
