I have a 2005 Chevy Impala and had a hard time locating the radiator drain plug, as well. You access it from inside the engine compartment. It is on the lower left-hand (drivers side) inner corner of the radiator. There are 3 different small hoses running directly in front of the drain plug, which makes it difficult to see. Good luck!
It does not have one. You will have to remove the transmission fluid pan to drain the transmission.
There isn't a radiator drain plug. Instead, you have to loosen the lower radiator hose and drain the fluids. Be careful and don't do it after running the motor. Do it when the fluid is cold/cool. Also, wear eye protection, as the fluid tends to go everywhere!!
how do you check transmission leval on a 03 Chevy impala
look for the drain on the bottom left or right of the radiator, just open it up and the fluid from the radiator will drain.
How many quart of transmission fluid is requier for a Chevy impala 2007
On the bottom corner of the radiator is drain plug. With the engine cold. remove the top radiator cap and remove the bottom drain plug. Be sure to put a large pan underneath to collect the old fluid.
5-6 bottles
should be a pet cock on the driver side bottom of the radiator take it out an the fluid will drain be careful to contain all your fluid it is a osha and epa violation to not store the fluid properly
I ran out of time on Saturday to do it, but it looks like you remove the battery. Then you can reach down and open the drain plug. It is just below the battery at the bottom of the radiator.
Pour the coolant in the radiator.
The radiator drain plug is located on the bottom of the radiator on the driver's side. This plug must be removed before attempting to change the radiator fluid.
your heater core is probably gone
