There is no drain plug, remove the lower radiator hose to drain coolant.
The radiator plug for a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 is located on the bottom of the radiator on the right side. It is used to drain the coolant during flushes and fluid changes.
The 2006 Ford Taurus radiator drain plug is located on the bottom of the radiator. The drain plug can be removed with a half inch ratchet.
Look along the bottom of the side radiator tanks. If there is a drain valve/petcock it will face inward towards the engine. If you can't find one then the radiator doesn't have one. Radiator drains have fallen out of favor over the years because they cost more to produce and it's one more place for coolant to leak out. If there is no drain then you will have to remove the lower radiator hose.
The cooling system on these vehicles is drained by detaching the lower radiator hose from the radiator. The radiator doesn't have a drain plug.
Coolant for a 2006 VW Bettle is put into the coolant overflow tank. As it is needed, the radiator will automatically pull in additional coolant.
Take radiator cap off, fill radiator with coolant, put cap back on!

The thread on cap on your engine coolant reservoir is the pressure cap / radiator cap
