the ATV should be in neutral to start the ATV. do not press the gas and lift the shifter up to put it in gear and push the throttle and you will be on your way. (some auto clutch ATV's gears are all down instead of up.)
You need to buy a puller ,one for the drive clutch [ on the motor ] and one for the driven clutch .That drives the ATV ! I bought mine from Dennis kirk for 60.00. Take the bolts out of center & put the puller in & tighten puller, they should come off

there are many ways to in my opinion there is the clutch slip method but my ATV doesnt have a clutch its a semi auto so i just put it in first gear lean back rev it up a bit then punch it if your ATV has enough power the wheels should come up and you will be able to catwalk it for a while with good balance and throtle control
