the oil pan cant be dropped. the only thing you can do is disconnect the motor mounts and use a good floor jack or cherry picker to raise the motor up alittle in order to change out the oil pump. if that's the reason your doin this. other wise the motor will have to come out.

I own A 1994 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer with a 5.0 liter engine. The answer to your question is the oil capacity is exactly 6 quarts for an oil change.
According to the 1996 Ford Bronco Owner Guide : With engine oil filter change : ( 6.0 U.S. quarts , 10W-30 is the PREFERRED oil for the 5.0 L in a 1996 Ford Bronco )
to start off you have to pull the tranny then the fly wheel and if its a one piece your good to go but if its a 2 piece you have to drop the oil pan.
If it is the same as the ( 1996 ) Ford Bronco model ( according to the Owner Guide ) The PREFERRED oil is : 5.0 liter V8 ( 10W-30 ) 5.8 liter V8 ( 5W-30 ) * with engine oil filter change , 6.0 U.S. quarts
