If you want to see how many friendship and affection points you have for that person you need to get 5000 medals somehow at the casino and trade them in for the love bangle.When equipped and you talk to someone it will show affection and friendship points. When you litter they loose friendship points. So if you pick up ANYTHING (weeds, items, e.t.c.) and throw it back down, you loose SO many friendship points and love points. So try not to litter, and talk to them regularly.
