Happy to help :) the sill plate must be bolted to the foundation. this is the bottom of the wall where it meets the concrete or steel. the floor joist must be anchored with hangers and tee-co nails. the bottom and top plate must be anchored to the studs with steel plates. heavy objects must be fastened to the walls such as water heaters and book shelves.
