I do not think you can do too much video editing in media player. I think a Nero or Roxio software would be better suited for such a task.
Windows Media Player only plays the videos. You can only create/edit video in Windows Movie Maker.
A wedding video can be edited by using video editing software. Try software packages such as Windows Media Player by trimming and pasting parts of the video. There is also a website who does this: viddedit.com
I ripped a dvd with WinX pro and got the file, but when i go to edit it in Corel Video Studio it shows the subtitles. and when i watch it on Windows Media Player it doesnt show subtitles, how do i get rid of them on Corel? Help?
You need to convert the JVC video to avi format. Free video converters are available online. Download and install one. (Google: free video converters).Once you have a video converter installed, add the JVC video to the conversion program. I can rate the song in Windows Media Player but it doesn't change the rate in the file's properties. I've tried Winamp too, but it's the same. So i need a media player what edit the file's properties when I rate the song. (Sorry for bad English) try the linux ones
Try loading the footage into a media editor such as Windows Movie Maker, or iMovie. Then edit the frame speed from there.
