The park brake on my 2004 LS is in the center console below the shifter and is an electronic lever.
The LED reads park assist disabled on my 2003 Lincoln Town car does that mean the sensors are in need of repair?
My 2004 does the same, I can re-enable it as per the manual, but just a few seconds in reverse and it triggers out. It then will not reset for a while which leads me to believe that it may be a breaker problem, either due to a weak breaker or a shorting in the switch or wire. Please post it if you find the problem.
