- Since this person is your friend then you will have to admit you allowed this friend to control you and not the other way around. Friends are similar to a marriage and that means good communication skills are needed so talk to your friend about the fact they are too controlling and you aren't going to put up with it. There are always problems in every friendship and bailing out so quickly is not the answer.
