It needs to be clarified if the book of Ecclesiastes or the deuterocanonical book of Ecclesiasticus is being referred to?

This book (Ecclesiastics) explains how a wealthy Jew in the beginning of his life lived without God. The wealthy Jew had lots of money, vineyards, slaves, cattle, and land. He found out that gaining riches in life is meaningless. This Jew is said to be Solomon, the son of David. This book is explaining to us that we should not chase after materialistic things or people, but rather God. This wealthy Jew wanted us to know that even though wisdom is good, you can still have much grief with wisdom. So, you can be the wisest, smartest, wealthiest and beautiful person on earth. But if you do not have Christ in your life and complete your assignment that He (the Lord) has given each one of us to do, then your life means nothing.
