First admit you have little experience, there is no point in making false claims. Then go on to describe why you are interested in the job (you obviously are - so explain why) try and describe how you are a sympathetic person that cares about people.

Interviewing is asking questions, to get or elicit information. Counselling is giving advice. A person applying for a job may be invited to an interview, but would not be invited for counselling.
