There used to be a program called Turfster, which has the ability to extract files from the .FORGE file format, but I think it was remade and named Maki. You need to Google it to find it and the extra plugins for certain games. I should mention that it has been difficult for most people to identify the thousands of files extracted from the forge archives. I've barely guessed some OGG and DDS extensions out of many which are near impossible to identify even with a hex editor. All I can say is good luck with whatever you can discover.
